I loved that the hotel was just a short walk from Wyandotte County Lake Park, where I enjoyed a peaceful stroll by the water, and being close to Grinter Place State Historic Site allowed me to easily discover some local history during my weekend trip.

Had a nice stay and enjoyed the comfy king suite. The jetted tub was a great way to unwind. The indoor pool and hot tub offered perfect relaxation after a long day out. One minor thing, the hallway noise was a bit noticeable, but it didn’t ruin our visit. 😊

We had a great time staying here as a group of friends! We visited the Azura amphitheater and Legends Outlet Mall, both super close. The breakfast was decent, and the service staff was really friendly, making our stay enjoyable.
However, the pool and hot tub were not open, which was a letdown since we wanted to use them during our stay.

missingWrote a review on 09 Auggreat locationcomfortable bedfriendly staffweird smellclosed poolcleanliness issues
The location was great, right off the highway. My room had a weird smell that I couldn't place when I walked in. The bed felt comfortable, and the breakfast offered a nice variety with fresh pastries and hot coffee. The staff members were friendly and helpful, which made a positive difference during my stay. However, the pool was closed, and that was a letdown since I was looking forward to relaxing there. The overall condition of the hotel seemed dated, and I noticed some cleanliness issues, such as a few stains on the bedding that I had to ask to be changed. I had a decent experience but felt the facilities needed a serious upgrade. Also, noise from the hallway made it tough to find peace and quiet at times.

Proximity to local attractions like the Kansas Speedway and Legends Outlet Mall really adds to the appeal of the layover. Sizeable rooms with both a fridge and a microwave provide good convenience for storing snacks and reheating leftovers—great for a late-night bite.
The pool was disappointingly closed during my stay, which I had counted on for a quick dip after a long drive. The breakfast options were pretty dull with limited variety. I expected more than just some tired pastries and a few cereal choices. There were also cleanliness inconsistencies, like a shower curtain that seemed overdue for retirement and some odd stains here and there. The elevator is tight, only accommodating a couple of people at a time, which could be a hassle if you're loaded down with luggage.

A Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
Spent a night in a lovely king suite with a whirlpool. The whirlpool was a great feature, but housekeeping missed a few cleanliness details, and the amenities had early closing times. Make sure to check restaurant hours before you go!
